Terms of Service

1. What this service is

Unified Media API is a developer platform: a documented REST API that resolves public media URLs, runs searches against third-party engines, and downloads media that you are legally allowed to access. The web dashboard is a client of that API.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the API only for lawful purposes and only with content you have the right to access. You may not use the service to: circumvent DRM or paywalls; distribute copyrighted material without authorization; access adult content where it is not enabled for your account; attack, overload, or probe other systems; or violate the terms of the upstream platforms you query.

3. Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for your account and API keys. Keys are shown once and stored hashed. Report abuse of your keys to us immediately. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Third-party services

Results and media originate from third-party platforms (YouTube, iTunes, TikTok, Reddit, and others). Their availability and terms govern their content. We do not host or claim ownership of third-party media.

5. Availability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. Rate limits apply to protect the platform and its upstreams.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings (re-authentication required). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
